MOVIE POSTERS

Project: Glitch (2004)
Client: Wanderer Films
Created: 7/6/04

This sci-fi short allowed me to try on a variety of hats: not only am I working with director Anthony La Pira to promote the film with this poster (and soon, the DVD art), but in the role of Art Director, I got to create key graphical elements-- specifically, hand-drawn circuitry diagrams-- for the movie set.

As for this poster, it's a clean, elegant design, with a few unique touches: for example, in reality, her eye isn't that green.

Project: A Little Rain (1999)
Client: Thurman Productions
Created: 10/15/00

In 1999, I teamed up with friend and classmate Ryan Thurston to produce a feature film from his screenplay, A Little Rain. In an effort to raise awareness and establish an identity for the project, I made a poster as soon as we had a cast and a script... but hadn't shot anything, not even photographs of our actors. Therefore, I made do with what I had, the script. Since the gimmick of the film is "Talk talk talk," I decided that the dialogue is such an integral part of this talky--some would say too talky--movie, that I used the dialogue itself as the design scheme, with various fonts and sizes and whatnot.

When I moved to Los Angeles, I handed over the MiniDV tapes on which the movie was made to Ryan for completion. To date, this film has not been released in any form.
